Your Opportunity

We are seeking a highly-organized, detail‑driven Staff Accountant to join our expanding accounting team. In this role, you will manage accurate financial records, prepare timely financial reports, and support compliance with all applicable accounting standards and regulations. This position offers strong opportunities for professional growth within a dynamic, collaborative work environment.

This is a remote position; candidates must be willing to work Eastern Time Zone business hours, with approximately 10% travel to our Northern Ohio offices.

What you will do

  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.

  • Prepare monthly financial statements and supporting reports.

  • Assist in the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts.

  • Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.

  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately.

  • Assist with payroll processing and related reporting requirements.

  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and company policies.

  • Support internal and external audit activities by providing required documentation.

  • Assist with tax preparation and related filings as needed.

  • Perform additional accounting duties and projects as assigned.

What You Need to Succeed:

  • Strong NetSuite power-user experience required; comfortable well beyond basic transaction entry, with the ability to build or troubleshoot saved searches, reports, or reconciliation processes.

  • 2+ years of end-to-end accounting experience.

  • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.

  • Startup or high-growth company experience highly preferred; comfortable with ambiguity and building process where none exists.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.

  • High attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

  • Healthcare industry a plus.

  • Must be willing to work Eastern Time Zone business hours, with approximately 10% travel to our Northern Ohio offices
