Your Opportunity
As the People Operations Generalist based in Ohio, you will play a vital role in managing and executing day-to-day People Operations supporting Vytalize’s partner entity and post-M&A integration initiatives.
This position offers a unique opportunity to combine hands-on HR responsibilities with strategic integration support. You will foster a healthy company culture, support employees through organizational transitions, ensure compliance, and provide guidance to managers and employees alike.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter with demonstrated success in employee relations, HR operations, and post-acquisition integration. This role requires close collaboration with clinical and operational leaders, while serving as a culture ambassador to reinforce company values.
What You Will Do
People & Operational Excellence:
Support post-acquisition integration efforts, including employee education on new benefits, HR systems, policies, and cultural expectations.
Identify and proactively address potential people-related pain points throughout the M&A transition process.
Work alongside VP, People Operations to support managers, providing insights and guidance on people operations to support the company’s growth and innovation.
Develop, implement, and enforce HR policies and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance across the organization.
Ensure all people operations initiatives, including onboarding, off-boarding, benefits, performance reviews, and training, are effectively implemented and managed.
Employee Experience:
Lead onboarding and cultural assimilation efforts for the partner entity’s employees transitioning into Vytalize.
Serve as a culture ambassador, reinforcing company values and expected behaviors during periods of organizational change.
Drive initiatives aimed at boosting employee engagement, productivity, and morale within all teams.
Collaboration and Change Management
Work closely with the Talent team to address staffing needs and support talent acquisition efforts.
Partner with managers to develop and implement performance management and employee development plans.
Support training sessions, Q&A forums, and education efforts to ease transitions and build trust.
Monitor employee sentiment during integration and escalate risks early.
Collaborate with managers to develop and implement performance management and employee development plans.
Employee Relations and Best Practices:
Serve as the point of contact for employee relations matters, providing expertise on best practices and conflict resolution.
Maintain and protect confidential data with the highest level of discretion and professionalism.
Support in writing, revising, and proofreading policies, procedures, and related documents as needed.
What will make you successful here
Bachelor's degree in human resources, management, business, marketing, and related experience
Minimum of 1 year of experience supporting M&A integration efforts, including onboarding acquired employees, aligning systems, and driving culture adoption.
Minimum of 3 years of evolving work experience in people operations, ideally in a start-up rapidly growing organization
Healthcare and technology experience not required but a plus
Strong understanding of HR best practices, policies, and employee relations.
Experience with employee relations, leave of absence management, ADA accommodations, and compliance.
Experience with leave of absence management, ADA accommodations, and other employment matters.
Ability to roll up sleeves and get the job done in a hands-on, fast-paced environment.
Microsoft Office & SharePoint experience required
PHR or SHRM-CP preferred, but not required.
Strong change management and organizational development skills.
Ability to operate with a high level of autonomy and accountability.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence across levels.
Ability to operate in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
Experience supporting geographically distributed, remote, hybrid and on-site employee populations.
