Position Summary: The Regional Manager will provide leadership and direction that places emphasis on quality, service, revenue growth, and fiscal efficiency. They will establish operational goals within the region and ensure effective performance. Duties include but are not limited to selecting and developing key personnel within the various departments, building and maintaining relationships with key clients, monitoring and ensuring the highest level of quality and service while efficiently managing a profitable operation and consistently implementing best practices to promote CPL values and mission statement.
Principle Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the operational effectiveness of all facilities and personnel in their CPL market.
- Plans and implement strategies for growth and retention of laboratory market share.
- Provide an environment that encourages personnel development and retention.
- Manages for P&L performance that meets the short and long-term goals of CPL.
- Establishes and maintains relationships with referring physicians and administrators.
- Instills the necessary values and monitors personnel to ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures.
- Education: Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent experience. MBA is a plus but not required.
Experience:
- 5-10 years of medical management (preferably laboratory medicine). To include management of multiple facilities and departments (Stat Labs, Patient Service Centers, Logistics and various service departments).
- Strong General Operations Management experience to include business growth and development.
Skills: The ability to communicate effectively both orally and written.
