Location: West Tennessee, Mississippi, Arkansas
Days: Monday - Friday, evenings and weekends as needed
Hours: Standard Business Hours, Other hours as needed

In this role, you will:

  • Perform a vital part of the patient care process by leading phlebotomy operations across multiple worksite locations and states within the designated region.
  • Support Operations & Sales with goals and objectives, including developing and inspiring your team of employees.
  • Interact with a variety of clients/patients and ensure exceptional, customer-focused service.
  • Identify, prioritize and implement process improvements to increase operational efficiencies and productivity to support business goals while managing growth.
  • Manage departmental resources, optimize processes, and maximize profitability.
  • Manage successful IOP/PSC implementations in support of growth and profitability. Understand the individual site requirements; coordinate the process on a defined timeline, achieving expectations of standardized, high quality phlebotomy support service.
  • Champion safety, compliance, and quality control.

All you need is:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • A minimum of 7 years of phlebotomy management or equivalent experience, preferably in a reference laboratory setting .
  • A valid driver’s license and an excellent driving record for the past three years.
  • Demonstrated ability in work flow design, and in analyzing and troubleshooting complex processes.
  • Experience with clinical lab regulatory requirements, QC, QA, and process improvement activities.
  • Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office, statistical analysis, and budget preparation.
  • Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under time constraints, without close supervision.

Bonus points if you’ve got:

  • Certification from the American Society of Phlebotomy Technicians or equivalent
  • Bachelor degree in an area of Science
