LOCATION: 250 Miller Place, Hicksville, NY 11801

HOURS: 8:30am - 5:00pm; Monday to Friday

FULL TIME: Benefits Eligible

HOURLY RATE: $20-$25/hr

In this role you will:

• Answer and address client questions regarding cyto and pathology questions

• Prepare follow up documentation and letters for abnormal PAPs

• Scan consultation reports into NovoPath and Antrim

• Process physician and patient slide requests and send outs

• Log pathological specimens and verifies completeness of information

• Perform monthly statistical reports

• Transcribe gross descriptions for cytology/pathology specimens

• Maintain pathologist licensing information

All you need is:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent

• Associate's Degree, preferred

• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Office and (specifically) Excel

• Ability to type and demonstrate proficiency and accuracy

• Knowledge of Medical Terminology

• Ability to problem solve and multitask

• Strong organizational skills

• Strong customer service skills and ability to work with all levels of staff
