Location for Training: Hicksville, NY
Monday to Friday from 8:30am-5:00pm
Full Time: Benefits eligible
In this role you will:
Speak to client's and patient's regarding billing, questions, and concerns
Verify both commercial and government insurances
Understand government insurances and commercial insurances
Navigate insurance websites reading EOB’S and answers customer insurance questions
Demonstrate excellent research, problem solving and follow up skills
Troubleshoot and resolve ongoing problems
Demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills both with internal and external clients
Handle stressful situations and maintain professionalism and composure
Complete special projects as needed
Assist team members with various billing tasks as needed
All you need is:
HS Diploma
Medical Billing Certification
Previous call center experience, preferred
Medical Billing Insurance experience, preferred
Knowledge of ICD 9 & 10 codes and CPT coding guidelines
To be detail oriented and able to multi-task
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
