Location: Reno, Nevada

Days: Monday - Friday

Hours: 9:30 am - 6:00 pm

In this role you will:

  • Perform accurate data entry of patient, provider, and test information into the Laboratory Information System (LIS).
  • Recognize when corrective action is needed and implement effective solutions.
  • Assist in the triage of specimens, handle mail and incoming materials (pathology slides, blocks, and reports), handle incoming supply orders, file slides and other materials.
  • Work in a laboratory environment with biological hazards and PPE requirements, following laboratory procedure as well as all safety and infection control guidelines.
  • Participate in required safety and quality assurance programs.
  • Champion safety, compliance, and quality control

All you need is:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Highly accurate and efficient typing skills
  • Ability to lift 30 pounds
  • Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills
