As an intern at Leash Biosciences, you will learn scalable laboratory techniques involved in protein production and NGS DNA sequencing and help design and execute an assay-optimization experiment to improve the performance of our DEL assay.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute weekly experimental execution tasks
• Collaborate closely with senior researchers and scientists to design assay optimization experiment
• Participate in troubleshooting and brainstorming activities with scientists and data scientists to improve the fidelity and value of datasets
• Carefully capture critical data and observations during experiments
• Provide feature suggestions to software engineers

About You

For you to be successful, we’re looking for the following qualifications:

• Bachelors or better degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biotechnology or similar
• Experience working with volumetric pipettes and aseptic techniques strongly preferred
• Strong problem-solving skills and a keen interest in biochemistry, molecular biology, or related areas
• Ability to work full-time on-site
